Be the Force

When I was in college I failed physics and had to retake it in summer school. Despite struggling in this course twice, I eventually passed and managed to remember one very important law of motion: inertia. It basically states: anything in motion or at rest will stay in that state unless acted upon by an external force.

The practical application of this law of motion can only mean one thing for us. All that is or is not moving in our lives, jobs, homes, schools, relationships or wherever will stay in that state until an external force changes it. In short, nothing will change unless you change it.

Examine what is moving and in what direction. Should you keep it going, change the direction or stop it? Look at what is at rest and why. Does it need a push or to stay put? How can you force the issue in either direction? Are there some areas that you can identify where you need to be the force that stops or starts the action?
